Welcome to Placetrail — a travel blog created by two friends, Bijendra and Vishwajeet, who simply love discovering new places, capturing moments, and sharing the stories behind them.

Placetrail started from something quite simple: our love for exploring. We enjoy visiting new places, taking photographs, noticing the little details that often go unnoticed, and putting our experiences into words. Over time, that hobby turned into an idea — why not create a space where we can share what we discover with other people who love travelling too?

And that’s how Placetrail came to life.

We both work professionally in digital marketing, so creating websites, working with content, understanding what people are looking for online, and telling stories through digital media is already a part of what we do. But Placetrail is different. It’s not our business, it’s not a travel agency, and we’re not here to sell you tours or holiday packages. It’s something we built because we genuinely enjoy it.

We believe good travel content should do more than show beautiful photographs. It should help you understand a place, make better decisions, and get excited about experiencing it for yourself.

Alongside the website, we also run the Placetrail YouTube channel, where we share visual experiences from the places we explore.

Why We Do It

We don’t believe you need to be a full-time traveller to enjoy discovering the world.

Sometimes it’s a completely new country. Sometimes it’s a city you’ve never explored. And sometimes it’s a small place just a few hours away that you’ve somehow never noticed before.

For us, travel is about curiosity.

It’s about taking the longer route, stopping to take a photograph, trying something you’ve never tried before, and coming home with a story worth telling.
